| AVCOLUX HLF is an optical brightener which has medium affinity towards cellulose fibres and high affinity towards polyamide. AVCOLUX HLF exhibits very good fastness properties in the application bath and on the treated fibres. AVCOLUX HLF has good fastness to acids, alkalis and to hypochlorite, chlorite, peroxide and hydrosulphite bleaching baths. AVCOLUX HLF has improved dry and wet light fastness properties compared to other stilbene derivatives used as optical brighteners for cellulose and polyamide fibres. AVCOLUX HLF is prefferably recommended when high demands of light fastness are required, e.g. for curtains and bathing articles.details |
