Surfactants and other organic ingredients present in printing and coating pastes are readily susceptible to microbiological attack. If uncontrolled, such attack can lead to a physical phenomena which renders the paste unusable after an unacceptable short storage period. Additionally, a contaminated paste will be a major source of infection of the end-product in which it is used. Uncontrolled microbiological attack can lead to production of offensive odors, change of pH, coagulation and cracking of the paste. These problems can occur in drums and in storage tanks.AVCOGARD PR is suitable to preserve all kinds of aqueous solutions, emulsion and dispersion normally encountered in textile finishing ,coating and printing. |
