SILICONE ANTIFOAMING AGENT

AVCO-ANTIFOAM H-50 is a versatile silicone anti-foaming and de-foaming agent, which can be used in most aqueous textile operations such as preparation, dyeing and finishing baths.

AVCO-ANTIFOAM H-50 is an excellent anti-foaming and de-foaming agent, which is suitable for many applications in a wide range of industries where foam is problematic (paint production, coating, agriculture, metal treatment, bottle cleaning, effluent treatment plants, etc.)

Compatibility Stable in aqueous processes used in textile preparation, bleaching, dyeing, finishing and printing. Is not stable at extreme pH range.
Storage Stable for at least 9 months. Do not store in direct sun. The product is sensitive to frost.

1. Very efficient and economic anti-foam.

2. Can be used in all types of aqueous operations.

3. Good stability to high temperatures.

4. Good stability to high shearing machines.

5. Good compatibility with various chemicals with a long lasting effect.

6. Stable to a wide range of pH values (3-13).

7. AVCO-ANTIFOAM H-50 is a liquid product and can be dosed very easily into the aqueous phase, its spreading in the aqueous medium is very quick, and its anti-foaming effect shows up immediately.

APPLICATION:

1. Due to its low viscosity, the product is easy to dose, and disperses well in aqueous systems.

2. For an exact and economical dosage, it is recommended to make a preliminary dilution with cold water in a ratio of 1:1-1:3 which should be used within one day.

3. Dilution should be made by simple stirring with a rod. Pour the water over the pure product while stirring.

4. Recommended dosage is 0.2-1 g/l. After prolonged storage of diluted solutions, the liquid should be stirred again before use.

5. On account of the plenty possibilities of applications, and due to the various demands made on the functions of the product, it is recommended to carry out preliminary tests in any individual case.
