AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF

ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY STABILIZER

AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is a fully biodegradable stabilizer used for continuous and exhaust peroxide bleaching processes of cellulosic yarns and fabrics.
AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is nitrogen and phosphorus free, with no potential for bioaccumulation and with no evolution of toxic compounds during biodegradation.
AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is environmentally friendly, and can be regarded as a “GREEN” product.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Balanced mixture of stabilizers, complexing agents and peroxide activators.

2. Highly effective in all alkaline peroxide bleaching conditions, and will ensure maximum bleaching efficiency, and high degree of whiteness.

3. AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is a silicate free stabilizer, and when used there are no risk of scale precipitation on the bleaching machine parts or onto the fabric surface.

4. AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is a versatile product, as it can be used for continuous bleaching processes (hot and cold) and for batch processes such as bleaching in jet, jigger and which machines.

5. Cellulosic fabrics bleached with AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF are highly absorbent, have very low ash content and have a soft handle.

6. AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is NITROGENE-FREE, It does not contain EDTA type of

complexing agents.

7. AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is PHOSPHOROUS-FREE, it does not contain any polyphosphate or phosphonate type complexing agent.

8. AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF is a biodegradable product, with over 80% biodegradability according to OECD test 302 b.

9. The product is free flowing liquid and can be metered directly to the bleaching machine.

10. The product is non-foaming at-all.

APPLICATION:

Depending on the method applied, 15-25% of AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF are added, calculated on the amount of peroxide (50%) used. The quantities of alkali and peroxide depend on the kind of pretreatment, the quality of the fabric to be bleached, the process applied, as well as on the time and the temperature of the treatment.

Peroxide bleaching liquors are ideally prepared with water of 4-8 German hardness (5-10 English hardness). The stabilizing effect of AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF alters very little, if the used water has higher or lower degree of hardness.

When preparing the bleaching liquor, it is recommended to add the ingredients in the sequence in which they are listed in the following recipes.

RECOMMENDED RECIPES:

1. Bleaching by the steaming method at temperatures up to 102-104°C

AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF 5 – 10 g/l

AVCO-BIOLUZE CHB 3 – 4 g/l

Caustic soda (50%) 12 – 25 cc/l

H2O2 (50%) 20 – 40 cc/l

The dwell time in the saturated steam atmosphere is usually 10-30 minutes.

2. Peroxide bleaching by the pad roll method

AVCO-BIOSTAB PNF 5 – 10 g/l

AVCO-BIOLUZE CHB 3 – 4 g/l

Caustic soda (50%) 5 – 12 cc/l

H2O2 (50%) 30 – 50 cc/l

Treat at temperature of 95 – 100°C in the batch box, the dwell time should be about 2 hours.
