NON -FOAMING “ONE-SHOT” BLEACHING AUXILIARY

AVCO-BLANKINOL VLF is a balanced blend of alkalis, complexing agents, low foaming detergents and stabilizers, formulated to offer the textile dye-house a complete “one shot” bleaching auxiliary, designed for the hot bleaching process of cellulose and cellulose blends with hydrogen peroxide in high speed machines.

SPECIFICATION:

Appearance White, non dusting powder.
Chemical nature Blend of surfactants, dispersants, complexants, buffers, stabilizers and alkalis.
Compatibility
  1. Is not compatible with cationic products.
  2. Is not compatible with acids
  3. Can be used with all chemicals normally used in peroxide bleaching.
Ionicity Anionic/nonionic.
pH (4 g/l) 12 ± 0.5.
Solubility Soluble in hot water up to 50 g/l. Produces opaque solutions.
Storage When stored dry in original packages, stable for at least12 months

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. “One-Shot” product, that can replace all surfactants, stabilizers, sequestrants
    and
    alkalis normally used in cotton hot bleaching process.
  2. Very low foaming properties.
  3. Less handling and weighing in the dye house.
  4. Saving of storage space.
  5. Excellent whiteness and absorbency of the bleached fabric.
  6. Maximum reproducibility.

APPLICATION:

BLEACHING RECIPES:
  1. Full bleaching of cotton knits in jet machines

    AVCO-BLANKINOL VLF 3.0 – 4 g/l
    H2O2(50%) 6.0 – 8 cc/l
    AVCOLUX CBA-100 0.4 – 0.8%
    Treat at 90-95°C for 45 minutes.
    It is also suitable to bleach for shorter time at higher temperatures (Up to 120° C).
  2. Single step “super-white” of cotton / lycra knits.
    • Treat the fabric with the following recipe:

      AVCO-BLANKINOL VLF 4.0 g/l
      Caustic soda (50%) 1.0 cc/l
      H202 (50%)8.0 – 10cc/l
      AVCOLUX CBA-N 0.8 –1%
      Treat at 90-95° C for 30-45 minutes.
    • To the same bath add, AVCO-ACTIVANT PBI 2-3 g/l and treat for 10-15 minutes more at 90-95° C.
    • Drop bath and rinse hot and cold.
  3. Half bleaching of cotton knits in jet machines
    AVCO-BLANKINOL VLF 2 – 3 g/l
    H2O2 (50%) 2– 3 cc/l
    Treat at 90-95°C for 30 minutes.
    When bleaching grey goods without pre-scouring, it is advisable to add first a deaerating agent such as AVCOTEX F5 (0.5-1 gr/l), and if needed an anticrease agent such as AVCOSLIP LB (1-2 gr/l). Then to load fabric, circulate for 5 min., add all the bleaching auxiliaries and start the bleaching process.
    HANDLING AND STORAGE:
    AVCO-BLANKINOL VLF is an alkaline material, and should be handled with care.
    Goggles and gloves should be worn during handling the dry material, plus aprons and rubber boots when handling made-up solutions. Store in a dry place to eliminate pick-up of moisture.
