Storage
  1. Sensitive to frost. Once frozen the product cannot be re-used.
  2. Partially used drums should be re-sealed
  3. Shelf life in proper storage conditions is at least 6 months.
Viscosity (dPa.s) 70 – 90

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. AVCOCOAT AC-B is producing a flexible medium hard film, which is resistant to
    washing and to dry-cleaning.
  2. The film can be tinted with aqueous organic pigment dispersions such as the
    AVCOLOR pigment range.
  3. AVCOCOAT AC-B is an aqueous preparation, and does not evaporate harmful gasses
    during the drying process.
  4. AVCOCOAT AC-B is suitable for coating all kinds of textile fabrics such as woven,
non woven and knitted fabrics, for uses such as curtaining fabrics, blinds,
window shades, furnishing fabrics, bags, tarpaulins, camping fabrics and other
    technical items.

APPLICATION:

  1. Before application the product can be tinted with any desirable aqueous pigment dispersion such as AVCOLOR pigment range.
  2. Add 5% AVCOFIX HM if a better wash fastness is needed.
  3. Filter to remove any dried particles.
  4. Coating is done with a doctor knife, rotary screen and other coating ranges.
  5. The wet coat should dried at 100-120°C followed by a curing treatment at 150-170°C for 2-3 min. In between calandering process can be done if needed.
  6. If needed the curing can be combined with a final finishing process such as oil and water repellent finish.
