PROPERTIES & USES:
- AVCOFIX 200 improves the wash fastness and the wet rubbing fastness of cellulosic
yarns and fabrics dyed with direct dyestuffs.
- AVCOFIX 200 improves the fastness to perspiration.
- AVCOFIX 200 reduces bleeding of direct dyestuffs from fabrics in wet conditions.
- AVCOFIX 200 may cause a slight change of shade of treated textiles.
- AVCOFIX 200 is used also for improving the wet fastness of cellulose dyed with
reactive dyestuffs, mainly with dark shades. Influence on the light-fastness and on
the shade should be carefully checked before use.
APPLICATION:
AVCOFIX 200 can be applied by exhaustion or by padding. Fabrics should be thoroughly rinsed before application to prevent precipitation with traces of anionic wetting agents and dyeing auxiliaries.
-
Application by exhaustion (jet, winch, jig)
-
Add fresh water to the bath.
-
Adjust pH to 5.5-6.5 with Acetic Acid.
-
Add AVCOFIX 200 (pre-diluted – 1:3)
-
Treat at 30-40°C for 20 minutes.
-
Drop bath.Dosage should be 1-3% o.w.g., depending on shade.
AVCOFIX 200 can be applied also together with cationic softeners.
When application is done wet on wet, adjust concentration to a pick up of 1-3% of AVCOFIX 200 o.w.g., depending on shade.
AVCOFIX 200 can be padded as is or together with cationic softener, nonionic softeners and resins (check for compatibility).STRIPPING
Use the following recipe:
formic acid (85%) 3 cc/l
AVCO-DISPERSANT NS 2 g/l
Treat 30 min. at 80°C
Rinse thoroughly and neutralize..
