COMPLEXING / DISPERSING AGENT FOR DYEING AND PREPARATION
AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is a unique textile auxiliary, which combines protective colloid properties together with dispersing and complexing properties.
AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is used as a versatile additive in textile procedures such as preparation, dyeing and soaping-off.
AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is used for treatment of viscose cotton and blends with synthetic fibres.

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is an excellent dispersing agent, that operates as a crystal
    distorter and threshold inhibitor, which prevents water hardness from
    precipitation onto textile fibres and machine walls.
  2. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is an efficient protective colloid, which prevents re-
    deposition of impurities onto textile fibers.
  3. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE loosens from the fibers and disperses in water phase metal
    salts, waxes, pectines and other precipitated materials found on fibres structure.
  4. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE does not sequester metals-which are included in dyestuff
    molecules such as copper in phthalocyanine derivatives.
  5. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is stable at a wide pH range of 5 – 13.
  6. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE disperses and sequesters water hardness and heavy metal ions
    contaminating raw fibers, salts and other chemicals used in preparation, and
    dyeing
    procedures.

APPLICATION:

  1. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE should be added to the treatment bath before other additives or dyestuffs.
  2. AVCO-POLYQUEST RE can be metered to continuous ranges as is or pre-diluted at any ratio.
GUIDING RECIPES:
  1. PREPARATION PROCEDURES:
    • AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is very beneficial in scouring bath after de-sizing treatment. Removal of sizes from fabrics is much better and fabric absorbency is improved.
      Use 1-3 gr/l.
    • In pre-washing and scouring procedure before bleaching or dyeing, addition of AVCO-POLYQUEST RE improves very much dirt removal and prevents re-deposition.
      Use 1-3 gr/l.
  2. DYEING PROCEDURES
    • AVCO-POLYQUEST RE enables dyeing of raw polyester-cotton knits without pretreatment.
      Use 2-3 gr/l AVCO-POLYQYEST RE in the dyeing bath together with 1-2 gr/l of AVCO-BIOLUZE DCB or AVCO-BIOLUZE G-1099.
    • Addition of 1-2 gr/l AVCO-POLYQUEST RE to the dyeing bath promotes level dyeing and helps to prevent deposits and other contamination caused by water and chemicals used in the dyeing bath. Shades will be brighter and reproduction will be better.
  3. SOAPING OFF PROCEDURES
    • AVCO-POLYQUEST RE is a non surface active washing preparation, that is used for after washing of reactives. Number of washing cycles can be reduced. The product is non-foaming and there is no need of anti-foams.
      Use 1-3 gr/l.
    • AVCO-POLYQUST RE is an excellent after washing agent for cotton fabrics printed with reactive dyestuff. AVCO-POLYQUST RE keeps white ground from being stained by loose dyestuff in the washing liquor.
