AVCO-RON HWF

“WASHING OFF” AGENT FOR REACTIVES

AVCORON HWF is a non surface-active dispersing agent specially developed for the washing-off of cellulosic fabrics and yarns dyed and printed with reactive dyestuffs. The product offers high level of wash fastness properties to the treated goods which cannot be achieved with detergents.

SPECIFICATION:

Solubility Soluble in water at any proportion.
Storage stability Stable for at least 12 months.
Appearance Clear yellowish liquid
Chemical nature Sodium salts of organic and inorganic polymers in aqueous solution.
Compatibility Compatible with hard water, alkalis and mild acids. Is not compatible with cationic products.
Density (gr/cc) 1.16 – 1.18
Ionicity Anionic.
pH (1%) 6.5 – 7.5

PROPERTIES & USES:

AVCORON HWF has unique and well balanced properties of a good dispersing agent,
sequestering agent and a protective colloid which offers the following advantages:

  1. AVCORON HWF prevents redeposition of the reactive dyes hydrolyzate onto the
cellulose fibres surface in the end of the dyeing process.
  2. AVCORON HWF is sequestering and dispersing calcium and magnesium present
in the water and prevents the precipitation of reactive dye hydrolyzate with the
    metal ions.
  3. The product reduces number of soaping and rinsing baths.
  4. It is possible to wash printed fabrics even with hard water with no risk of
precipitation of calcium alginate and water hardness.
  5. AVCORON HWF is non-foaming at all, and can be used in all types of high-speed
    jets.
  6. AVCORON HWF is a liquid product, and can be metered very easily to the washing
    machine.
  7. AVCORON HWF has no influence on dyestuffs containing metal complexes in the
molecule structure, and produces no change in shade and no decrease in normal
    light fastness of reactive dyestuffs.
  8. Improves the rubbing fastness and wash fastness of dyed and printed goods.

APPLICATION:

General dosage recommended is 1-2 g/l.
For critical dyes such as Reactive Turquoise it is recommended to apply a fixing agent
such as 1-2% AVCOFIX – FF (fixing agent free of formaldehyde) after the soaping-off process.
