AVCO-SLIP AND

ONE-SHOT ANIONIC EMULSIFIER WITH ANTI-CREASING PROPERTIES.
AVCO-SLIP AND is a unique product for dyeing of cotton, viscose, cotton blends and synthetic fabrics. It is combining excellent emulsifying along with anti-creasing properties. When added to the treatment bath before the fabric is loaded, it ensures the removal of oils and lubricants while creases and fold marks are avoided.
AVCO-SLIP AND helps to remove oils and lubricants found on the textile material, and keep it emulsified in the dyeing liquor, without interfering in the dyeing process. These properties enable one-step scouring-dyeing without pretreatment.
The product is anionic, and is recommended for dyeing of dyestuffs that are sensitive to non-ionic surfactants such as reactive turquoise.SPECIFICATIONS:

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Excellent emulsifying and dispersing properties along with creases preventing effect.

2. Good soil suspending properties, which can prevent any re-deposition of soil on dyed fabric through all the dyeing cycle.

3. Good dispersing properties toward hydrolysed reactive dyes.

4. Very good anti-creasing properties for synthetics and natural fibres. Prevents rope marks abrasion, chafing and creasing of treated fabrics.

5. Promotes opening of the fabric ropes and displacement of folds.

6. Stable to high temperature, hence suitable for dyeing at H.T. conditions.

7. Does not contain any hazardous solvents.

8. AVCO-SLIP AND is an anionic preparation, which does not cause any agglomeration and staining problems when dyeing problematic phthalocyanines dyes.

9. Low foaming, can be used in jet machines and in rotary washers.

10. Has no retarding effect on reactive, vat, direct and disperse dyestuffs.

11. Good stability towards concentrated electrolytes as used in cotton dyeing.

12. AVCO-SLIP AND is very versatile. Due to its excellent detergency and lubricating properties it can be used in many wet processes such as bleaching, pretreatment, de-sizing and dyeing.

13. AVCO-SLIP AND is recommended for one bath scour/dye operations.

APPLICATION:

1. Cotton knits “One-Step” reactive dyeing

Add to the machine 1-2 g/l of AVCO-SLIP AND, for heavily soiled knits add 0.5 – 1 g/l of anionic detergent such as AVCO-BLANK AK.

Adding 0.5 g/l AVCO-LEVELER 1488 will ensure trouble free and more level dyeing along with better washing – off the un-fixed reactive dyes.

The textile material should be treated for a period of 5 minutes with AVCO-SLIP AND before the addition of the dyestuffs and the auxiliaries.

The dyeing process can be carried out as normal.

2. Polyester and polyester blends “One-Step” dyeing

The usage of 1-3 g/l of AVCO-SLIP AND is recommended.

The textile material should be treated for a period of 5 minutes with AVCO-SLIP AND before the addition of the dyestuffs and the auxiliaries.

3. Peroxide bleaching

Use 1-2 g/l of AVCO-SLIP AND for pre-scouring cotton and polyester/cotton fabrics before peroxide bleaching. It is very effective to pre-scour for 10 minutes with AVCO-SLIP AND then to continue peroxide bleaching in the same liquor.

4. Viscose/lycra fabrics

AVCO-SLIP AND is an excellent detergent for one step dyeing of viscose lycra fabrics.

For one step scour/dye, use 1-2g/l of AVCO-SLIP AND.

The addition of 1-2 g/l of AVCO-LEVELER 1488 ensures more leveled dyeing results and better removal of un-fixed dyes in the washing-off process.
