AVCO-SOFT CT 5

UNIVERSAL SOFTENER
AVCO-SOFT CT 5 is an universal softener which imparts a very soft and pleasant handle to cellulose, wool, and synthetics fabrics.
The softener is non-yellowing and can be applied in all kinds of dyeing and finishing machines.
White fabrics treated with AVCO-SOFT CT 5 stand to the phenol yellowing test.

2. Is not compatible with concentrated electrolytes and strong alkalis.
Storage Shelf life is at least 12 months.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Provides very pleasant hand to cotton, wool and synthetic fabrics.

2. Can be applied by padding and by exhaust methods.

3. Suitable for application in high-speed jets and rotary washers.

4. Non-yellowing softener. Stands the “Courtauld test” (phenolic yellowing) with top scores.

5. Thermostable, non-volatile.

6. Does not lower dyeing fastness properties of dyed yarns and fabrics.

7. Suitable for softening before pigment printing.

8. Liquid and hence easy to handle.

9. Suitable for softening ready-made garments and denim articles.

10. Is not precipitating with residues of most of the anionic washing-off agents used in reactive dyeing.

11. Can be applied with suitable silicone emulsions.

APPLICATION:

1. EXHAUSTION METHOD:

Apply 2-4% o.w.f. of AVCO-SOFT CT 5, run at pH 5-5.5 for 20-30 minutes at 40°C.

2. PADDING METHOD:

Prepare 20-40 g/l of AVCO-SOFT CT 5 solution, pad and dry.
