AVCOSOFT HDS is a special softener for all textiles requiring high absorbency such as towels and underwear.
AVCOSOFT HDS does not impair the hydrophilic properties of the untreated fabric, as is usual with many cationic softeners.

PROPERTIES & USES:
- Modified with special hydrophilic silicone elastomer which imparts a silky handle.
- AVCOSOFT HDS imparts softness, loft and lubricity to cotton yarns and fabrics.
- AVCOSOFT HDS unlike most other softeners, does not affect the re-wetting of
softened yarns and fabrics, even when dried at elevated temperatures.
- AVCOSOFT HDS is recommended for softening towels, socks and underwear fabrics when
hydrophilic finish is required.
- AVCOSOFT HDS is a liquid softener and handling is very easy.
APPLICATION:
AVCOSOFT HDS can be applied by padding method or by exhaustion method.
Before adding AVCOSOFT HDS to the bath, dilute product with cold water.

Application by exhaustion:
Add 2-3% of AVCOSOFT HDS O.W.G to the finishing bath.
Adjust pH to 5 – 5.5 with acetic acid.
Apply for 20-30 minutes at 35-40°C.

Application by padding:
Use 20-40 gram/liter in the padding bath depending on the pick up and the required handle.
