AVCOSOFT NIC is a nonionic softening agent used for finishing cellulosic and synthetic fabrics and their blends.
AVCOSOFT NIC is used in the padding process in conjunction with resins, catalysts, optical brighteners, PVA and Poly-acrylates, pigments or as a sole finish.
AVCOSOFT NIC is non-yellowing and imparts to the fabric a soft and full hand. Fabrics softened with AVCOSFT NIC can be over printed with pigments with no influence on the fastness properties.

APPLICATION:
AVCOSOFT NIC is a mobile liquid that can be dosed as is or to be pre-diluted before dosing to the padding bath.
Following are some examples of application:

Treatment of Cotton or Polyester fabrics and blends.
Pad with 20-40 gr/l AVCOSOFT NIC followed by drying and calandering.

Finishing of poly-cotton bed sheeting.
Pad with the following recipe:
AVCOSOFT NIC 20-40gr/l
AVCO-ELASTOGUM 100 5-10gr/l

Pigment dyeing of cotton and poly-cotton fabrics.
Pad with the following recipe:
AVCOLOR pigment X
AVCO-BINDER D 50 – 120gr/l
di-ammonium – phosphate 1 – 2gr/l
AVCOSIL S 5 – 10gr/l
AVCOSOFT NIC 40 – 60gr/l

Crease resistant finish of woven cotton.
AVCOREZ LFR 80 – 120gr/l
Magnesium – chloride. 12 – 18 gr/l
AVCOSOFT NIC20 – 40 gr/l
Padding, drying, curing for 3 minutes at 150°C or 30 seconds at 170°C.

Finishing 100% cotton satin white fabrics.
Pad with the following recipe:
AVCOLUX CN – 100 4 – 8gr/l
AVCOSOFT NIC20 – 30gr/l
Padding, drying and hot calandering.

Finishing of 65/35 poly-cotton printed with pigments.
Pad with the following recipe:
AVCOSOFT NIC 20- 30 gr/l
AVCO-ELASTOGUM 10010- 15gr/l
