| AVCOSOFT PE is a nonionic Polyethylene emulsion. It is an excellent resin plasticizer, fibre lubricant and softener, and adds drape to fabrics treated with thermosetting resins (Glyoxal, UF, Melamine and PVA resins).

PROPERTIES & USES:
- In wash and wear resin finishing, AVCOSOFT PE improves abrasion resistance,
improves
sew-ability and lower the reduction of fabric strength while using resin
finishing
agents.
- AVCOSOFT PE possesses good durability against repeated washing.
- No adverse effects on rubbing and light fastness of dyed and printed fabrics.
- AVCOSOFT PE is recommended for finishing cotton, viscose, polyester, polyamide,
polyester-cotton and other blends, for all kinds of wash and wear, permanent-
press
and dimensional stability finish of fabrics.
APPLICATION:
AVCOSOFT PE is applied by padding method. AVCOSOFT PE is added to the finishing bath after the resin, but before the catalyst has been added. Generally a concentration of 20-40 gr/l,. depending on the pick-up, will be sufficient.
