AVCOSOFT SBE is a liquid cationic softener, modified with silicone elastomer, used for softening all kinds of fibres, yarns and fabrics.
AVCOSOFT SBE imparts excellent hand with high surface smoothness.
AVCOSOFT SBE is recommended for napping and brushing operations.

PROPERTIES & USES:
- AVCOSOFT SBE produces a smooth, soft, non-greasy handle on all fibres, mainly
those made out of cellulose and its blends.
- AVCOSOFT SBE is a liquid product and handling in the mill is very easy.
- Can be used in resin finishing baths.
- Excellent napping and brushing aid.
- AVCOSOFT SBE is regarded as a non-yellowing softener when dried at normal drying
temperatures.
APPLICATION:
AVCOSOFT SBE can be applied by padding method or by exhaustion method.
Before adding to the bath, dilute product with water.

Application by exhaustion:
Adjust pH to 5-5.5 with acetic acid.
Add 2-4% AVCOSOFT SBE.
Apply for 20-30 minutes at 30-40°C.
Hydroextract and dry at 120-150°C.

Application by padding:
Use 20-40 gram/liter AVCOSOFT SBE depending on pick-up and the required hand.
