AVCO-STABILIZER CPB

PEROXIDE STABILIZER FOR COLD PAD BATCH BLEACHING

AVCO-STABILIZER CPB is a silicate free, liquid stabilizer suited for cotton and polyester-cotton cold peroxide bleach or for cold bleaching/desizing operation.
AVCO-STABILIZER CPB regulates and controls activation of Hydrogen-Peroxide so that usage of active Oxygen is directed mainly for the cellulose bleaching process and not to unwanted side reactions.
AVCO-STABILIZER CPB also acts as a sequestering agent to heavy metal ions, which can produce catalytic decomposition of Hydrogen-Peroxide, and would cause fiber damages.
AVCO-STABILIZER CPB does not contain any silicate compounds, and there is no risk of precipitations during bleaching onto fabrics or machine walls.

SPECIFICATION:

Appearance Slightly yellowish liquid.
Chemical nature Aqueous solution of polyhydroxy and polycarboxy compounds.
Compatibility Can be mixed with usual components used in cold pad bleach.
Density 1.11 – 1.14 gr/cc.
Density at 20°C 1.17 ± 0.25 gr/cm.
Ionic nature Anionic
pH as supplied 8.5 ± 1
Solubility Soluble in water at any proportion.
Storage Freezes below O°C. Fully usable after thawing. When properly stored, storage stability is at least12 monthes.

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. Contains no silicates.
  2. The treated material is very easily rinsed off with no deposits on textile or
    machinery parts.
  3. Promotes removal of sizes and impurities out of the treated fabric.
  4. Product is non-foaming.
  5. Product can be dosed easily as is by a metering pump.
  6. Can be used also as a stabilizer for hot bleaching.

APPLICATION:

Bleaching bath preparation:
Add the required amount of water to the mixing tank and add all components in the following order:
  1. AVCO-STABILIZER CPB.
  2. Caustic Soda.
  3. Hydrogen Peroxide.
  4. Wetting agent, detergent, dispersing agent.
Guiding recipe
Cold oxidative de-sizing and bleaching of grey goods without pretreatment.
AVCO-STABILIZER CPB 8 – 12 g/l
Caustic Soda (100%) 15 – 35 g/l
Hydrogen Peroxide (35%) 40 – 60 g/l
AVCO-BIOLIT 2090 3 – 6 g/l
AVCOBLANK ROA-CONC 1 – 3 g/l
AVCOSON OX 4 – 6 g/l
Bath temperature : 20 – 30°C
Dwelling time : 16 – 24 hours wrapped with a plastic cover in a rolling station.
Goods which were pre-desized can be bleached in this way by reducing the amount of caustic soda and no AVCOSON OX is needed.
Washing off is done on a continuous washer (minimum 5 boxes)
by the following procedure:
Box 1 (95°C) – Set up with 1 cc/l caustic soda (45 Be).
Box 2 (95°C) -Hot water.
Box 3 (95°C) -Dispense with (1 gr/kg running fabric) AVCO-POLYQUEST PDK
Box 4 (95°C) – Hot water.
Box 5 (60°C) -Warm water.
Counter current is necessary and addition of fresh hot water to box 3 and 5 is recommended all through the washing off stage.
