AVCO-SUPERFINISH SNI

NONIONIC SOFTENER MODIFIED WITH SILICONES
AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI is a nonionic softening agent, modified with silicone elastomer, used for softening all kinds of textile fabrics.
AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI imparts excellent silky hand with high surface smoothness, suitable also for white fabrics.

SPECIFICATION:

Storage Freezes at O°C, fully usable after thawing and mixing. Stable for at least 12 months.
Appearance White liquid
Chemical nature Aqueous emulsion of fatty ester, modified with poly- amino siloxane emulsion.
Compatibility
  1. Can be applied with nonionic and cationic products, mild acids and alkalis.
  2. Stable to hard water.
  3. Check in lab. compatibility with anionic products.
Ionicity Nonionic
pH (5% sol) 5 ± 0.5
Solubility Miscible with water at any ratio.

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI produces a smooth, silky, non-greasy soft handle on all
    types of textile fabrics.
  2. AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI is a liquid product and can be metered with a dozing pump.
  3. AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI provides good anti-static effect to synthetics and to their
    blends.
  4. Good lubricity is imparted to fabrics which ensures excellent sewability with
    high speed sewing machines.
  5. Can be used in resin finishing baths.
  6. Excellent napping and brushing aid.
  7. AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI does not promote soiling.
  8. AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI is non-yellowing and can be used with white fabrics.
  9. Product is shear stable and can be applied in high speed padding machines.

APPLICATION:

AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI is a pour-able liquid that can be dosed as is or to be pre-diluted before dosing to the padding bath.
Following are some examples of application:
  1. Treatment of Cotton or Polyester fabrics and blends.
    Pad with 20-40 gr/l AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI followed by drying and calandering.
  2. Full hand finishing of Poly-cotton bed sheeting.
    AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI 20 – 40 gr/l
    AVCOPRET VA (PVA) 10 – 20 gr/l
  3. Crease resistant finish of woven cotton fabrics
    AVCOREZ – LFR CONC. 40 – 80 gr/l
    Magnezium – chloride. 10 – 20 gr/l
    AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI 20 – 40 gr/l
    Pad, dry and cure for 3 minutes at 150°C or 30 seconds at 170°C.
  4. Finishing of 65/35 poly-cotton printed with pigments.
    Pad with the following recipe:
    AVCO SUPERFINISH SNI 20 – 40 gr/l
