LOW -FOAMING “ONE-SHOT” PEROXIDE BLEACHING AUXILIARY

AVCO-SUPRA BLEACH AI is an optimized formulated compound, designed to obtain high whiteness degrees of cellulosic fabrics and yarns.
AVCO-SUPRA BLEACH AI enables one step peroxide bleaching with high degree of whiteness and excellent absorbency of the bleached textiles.
AVCO-SUPRA BLEACH AI is a balanced blend of complexing agents, low foaming detergents, stabilizers and activators, formulated to offer the textile dye-house a complete “one shot” bleaching auxiliary.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Appearance	Slightly yellowish, clear liquid.
Chemical nature	Aqueous compound of nonionic surfactants, phosphonates and polyhydroxy magnesium complexes.
Ionic type	Anionic/non-ionic.
pH (1 g/l)	4.0 – 4.5
Solubility	Miscible with water at any ratio.
Compatibility	a. Is not compatible with cationic products. b. Can be used with all chemicals normally applied in peroxide bleaching.
Storage	Store product in closed original packages at temperature range of 5 – 40ºC. When properly stored it is stable for at least 12 months.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. “One-Shot” product that can replace all surfactants, stabilizers and sequestering agents normally used in cotton and viscose hot bleaching processes.

2. Excellent whiteness and absorbency of the bleached fabric.

3. The product has outstanding complexing and dispersing properties towards Ca and Fe ions.

4. Low foaming properties. Recommended for high speed machines.

5. Less handling and weighing in the dye house. Saving of storage space.

6. Recommended for continuous and discontinuous peroxide bleaching processes.

7. Maximum reproducibility.

APPLICATION:

BLEACHING RECIPES:

1. Half bleaching of cotton knits in jet machines:

AVCO-SUPRA BLEACH AI 1.0 – 2.0 g/l

H₂O₂ (50%) 2.0 – 3.0 cc/l

Caustic soda (50%) 2.0 – 2.5 cc/l

Run at 90-95°C for 30minutes.

Drop bath

Refill and treat at 80C with 0.3-0.5 g/l AVCO-SAN HPK for 10 min.

Adjust pH to 6 – 7

2. Ultra short process of excellent whiteness of cotton knits in jet machines

Treat the fabric with the following recipe:

AVCO-SUPRA BLEACH AI 1.5 -2.0 g/l

Caustic soda (50%) 2.0 -3.0 cc/l

H₂O₂ (50%) 8.0 -10.0 cc/l

AVCO-LUX HA 0.8- 1.2 %

Run at 110 – 120°C for 20-15 minutes.

Cool down to 80°C and drop bath

3. Super white of cotton/lycra knits in jet machines in two steps.

3.1 De-mineralization process:

Treat the fabric with the de-mineralization solution:

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

AVCO-SLIP CLY 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

AVCO-TRYL ADC 1.5 – 2.0 g/l

Treat at 80°C for 20 minutes

Rinse at 60°C for 10 minutes.

3.2 Peroxide bleaching process:

AVCO-SUPRA BLEACH AI 1.5 – 2.0 g/l

Caustic soda (50%) 2.0 – 4.0 cc/l

H₂O₂ (50%) 8.0 – 10.0 cc/l

Run at 110°C for 15 minutes.

Cool down to 80°C and Drop the bath.

Rinse and neutralize.

Refill and add the optical brightener:

AVCO-LUX NMA 1.0 -1.2%

Glauber salt 3 -g/l

Treat at 60°C for 30 minutes.
