AVCO-TRYL 2018

COMPLEXING AND DISPERSING AGENT FOR PRETREATMENT

AVCO-TRYL 2018 is a highly effective and versatile complexing agent with dispersing properties used for the pretreatment of textile fibres. AVCO-TRYL 2018 is based on an unique combination of phosphonates which can prevent precipitation of calcium, magnesium and heavy metals on the textile fibres and on machines parts because of high water hardness and high temperatures. AVCO-TRYL 2018 acts as a corrosion inhibitor and removes rust and silicate deposits from machine walls, pipes and textile surface.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Appearance Sightly yellowish, clear liquid
Chemical nature Aqueous solution of sodium salts of phosphonates.
Ionic type Anionic
pH (10% sol.) 3.5 – 4.5
Solubility Miscible with water at any ratio
Compatibility Resistant to strong alkalis, silicates, oxidizing and reducing agents normally encountered in pretreatment procedures.
Storage Stable for at least 12 months.

PROPERTIES & USES:1. Excellent dispersing and de-crystalizing properties of precipitated calcium, magnesium and heavy metals salts (threshold effect).

2. Silicate deposits and incrustations in the equipment and on the fabrics are dissolved. It also inhibits corrosion.

3. AVCO-TRYL 2018 increases the efficiency of the detergents used in the pretreatment procedure, and improves primary detergency by synergistic action.

4. Improves the secondary detergency, by preventing soil re-deposition on treated fabric in the scouring process.

5. Very good action in cold pad batch peroxide bleaching and hot peroxide bleaching (continuous and batch type processes).

6. Cleans the fabric and contribute to a high degree of whiteness.

7. Stable to all chemicals used in cotton and cotton blends pretreatment, such as strong alkalis, persulphates, hydrogen peroxide etc.

8. Good complexing of heavy metal ions in alkaline pH.

9. Non foaming at all.

APPLICATION:

AVCO-TRYL 2018 is a liquid, and can be metered directly to the treatment liquor. The application quantities are the following:

1. Long liquor bleaching process with H2O2 use: 0.5 – 2.0 g/l

2. Cold pad batch bleaching with H2O2 use: 1.0 – 3.0 g/l

3. Hot continuous bleaching with H2O2 use: 1.0 – 3.0 g/l

4. Alkaline boiling-off continuously use: 1.0 – 3.0 g/l

5. Alkaline boiling-off in high liquor ratio machines use: 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

6. Pretreatment of synthetic fabrics and yarns use: 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

Recommended recipes:

1. Scouring knitted fabrics

To eliminate residues of oils and contamination from knitted fabrics use the following recipe:

AVCO BIOLUZE G-1099 1.0 – 2.0 g/l

AVCO-TRYL 2018 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

Soda ash 2.0 – 4.0 g/l

Scour for 20-30 minutes at 80-90°C, drop the bath and rinse.

2. Half-bleach in jet machines

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX 1.0 – 2.0 g/l

AVCO-STABILIZER HSF 0.5 – 0.8 g/l

AVCO-TRYL 2018 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

Caustic Soda (50%) 2.0 – 3.0 cc/l

Hydrogen Peroxide (50%) 3.0 – 4.0 cc/l

Bleach at 90-95°C for 45-60 minutes.

Add a bath lubricant if needed.

3. Full-bleach in jet machines

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

AVCO-STABILIZER HSF 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

AVCO-TRYL 2018 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

Caustic Soda (50%) 2.0 – 3.0 cc/l

H2O2 (50%) 6.0 – 10 cc/l

AVCO-LUX CBA-N 0.8 – 1.2%

Bleach at 90-95°C for 45-60 minutes.

Add a bath lubricant if needed.

4. Peroxide bleaching by the steaming method on de-sized fabric

Temperatures up to 105°C on a roller bed steamer

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX 3 – 4 g/l

AVCO-STABILIZER HSF 4 – 8 g/l

AVCO-TRYL 2018 1 – 3 g/l

Caustic Soda (50%) 12 – 25 cc/l

Hydrogen Peroxide (50%) 20 – 40 cc/l

The dwell time in the saturated steam atmosphere is usually 15-20 minutes.

5. Cold pad bleaching on desized fabric

Cold oxidative desizing and bleaching of grey goods without pretreatment.

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX 3 – 4 g/l

AVCO-STABILIZER CPB 8 – 10 g/l

Caustic Soda (50%) 30 – 40 cc/l

Hydrogen-Peroxide (50%) 40 – 50 cc/l

AVCO-TRYL 2018 1 – 3 g/l

AVCO-SON OX 4 – 6 g/l

Bath temperature: 20 – 30°C

Dwelling time: 16 – 24 hours wrapped with a plastic cover in a rolling station.

Goods which were pre-desized can be bleached in this way by reducing the amount of caustic soda and no AVCO-SON OX is needed.
