BLEACHING AUXILIARY FOR PRODUCING “TOP WHITE” COTTON KNITS

AVCO- ULTRA WHITE HFB is a balanced blend of stabilizers, complexing agents, dispersing agents and activators formulated to offer the textile dye-house a complete bleaching accelerator, designed for the hydrogen peroxide hot bleaching process of cellulose and cellulose blends with high speed machines.
The unique composition of the compound provides synergistic action of the ingredients, which enable the production of “top-white” cotton knits.SPECIFICATIONS:

Appearance	White, non dusting powder.
Chemical nature	Compound of alkali buffers, complexing agents, buffers and stabilizers.
Ionic type	Anionic/non-ionic.
pH (1 g/l)	11 – 12.
Solubility	Soluble in hot water up to 40 g/l. Produces opaque solutions.
Compatibility	a. Is not compatible with cationic products.b. Is not compatible with acids c. Can be used with all chemicals normally used in peroxide bleaching.
Storag	When stored in dry place in original packages, it is stable for at least 12 months

BLEACHING RECIPES:

HALF BLEACH OF COTTON KNITS IN JETS

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX HC 0.5 – 0.8 g/l

AVCO-ULTRA WHITE HFB 0.8 – 1.0 g/l

Caustic soda( 50%) 1.0 – 2.0 cc/l

H₂O₂(50%) 2.0 – 3.0 cc/l

Run at 90 – 95°C for 30 -45 min.

At H.T. condition (115-120°C) run for 20 – 25 min.

SUPER WHITE ON 100% COTTON KNITS IN JETS

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX HC 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

AVCO-ULTRA WHITE HFB 1.0 – 1.5 g/l

Caustic Soda(50%) 2.0 – 2.5 cc/l

H₂O₂ (50%) 8.0 -10.0 cc/l

AVCO-LUX HA 0.5 – 1.0 %

Run at 90-95°C for 45 min.

At H.T. condition (115-120°C) run for 20 – 25 min.

SUPER WHITE ON COTTON/LYCRA KNITS IN JETS

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX HC 0.8 – 1.5 g/l

AVCO-ULTRA WHITE HFB 1.5 – 2.0 g/l

Caustic soda (50%) 2.0 – 3.0 cc/l

H₂O₂ 50% 8.0 -12.0 cc/l

AVCO-LUX HA 0.8 – 1.0 %

Run at 90-95°C for 45 min.

At H.T. condition (115-120°C) run for 20 – 25 min.

REMARKS:

When bleaching grey goods without pre-scouring, it is advisable to add first a deaerating agent such as AVCO-TEX CAN (0.5-1 g/l), and if needed an anti-crease agent such as AVCO-SLIP RF (1 g/l). Then to load fabric and circulate for 5 min., and to add all the bleaching auxiliaries and start the bleaching process.
Further improvement of the whiteness can be done by using AVCO-ACTIVANT PBI. Apply the normal peroxide bleaching at 90-95°C for 45 min. and then, add 2-3 g/l of AVCO-ACTIVANT PBI. Continue bleaching at 95°C for another 10-15 min., drop the bath and rinse hot and cold.

HANDLING AND STORAGE:

AVCO-ULTRA WHITE HFB is a mild corrosive material, and should be handled with care. Safety glasses and gloves should be worn during handling the dry material. Store in a dry place to eliminate the pick-up of moisture.
