| AVCOZIM WET is a unique one-shot product, used for desizing cotton fabrics. The product contains a desizing enzyme, detergents and pick-up enhancer.

PROPERTIES & USES:
- “One-shot” product, containing detergents and desizing enzymes, normally used in
starch desizing.
- Excellent enzymatic desizing properties, suitable for desizing all kinds of
starch and starch derivatives.
- Excellent detergency effect.
- Strong cleaning power for all kinds of dirt. Prevents soil re-deposition onto the
treated garments.
- Contains a special hydrophilic polymer which increases the pick-up of the
treatment liquor and ensures even distribution of the ingredients in the fabrics.
- Optimum activity is in the temperature range of 60-70° and pH range of 5-7. In
lower temperatures longer treatment time is needed.
- The strong amylolytic action of AVCOZIM WET allows rapid conversion of the starch
size into dextrins, which are easily removed by hot washing-off process.
- AVCOZIM WET is suitable for high liquor ratio batch machines such as jet, jiggers
and rotary washing machines, and for the semi-continuous pad batch methods.
- AVCOZIM WET can be used together with slightly acidic complexing agents to obtain
one step demineralization and desizing process.
- As it is a multi-purpose product, it ensures less handling and weighing
procedures, and is saving storage space.
- Liquid product,that can be metered easily to the washing machine.
APPLICATION:

The quantities and treatment time depend on the type of fabric and de-sizing method.
General suggestions are:

For batch treatments (high L.R.) use 1 – 3 g/l

For jig (low L.R.) use 2 – 4 g/l
-
For continuous treatmentuse 4 – 8 g/l

The pH of the de-sizing solution should be slightly acid. For optimum results, adjust to pH 5-6 with Acetic-Acid.

The treatment temperature should be 60-70°C.

Treatment time recommendation is for high liquor ratio methods 45-90 minutes and for continuous (pad roll) 4-8 hrs. dwell time.

It is recommended to add slightly acidic complexing agent to the desizing bath toobtain a demineralizing effect. This additive will ensure better bleaching results as bleaching is normally done after the desizing process.

The solubilized size must be washed out before the cloth is transfered to bleaching and dyeing. Best results are achieved by alkaline boiling (2-4 cc/l Caustic Soda -50%). Addition of AVCO-POLYQUEST PDK (1-2 g/l) will help to eliminate water hardness and other metal precipitates from the fabric.

AVCOTRYL HPH 0.5 – 1 g/l
AVCOZIM WET 2.0 – 4 g/l
Run 4-6 ends at 70°C.
Remove size by hot washing at 95° C for 2 ends. Use of 2-4 cc/l soda caustic (50%) will improve desizing effect.
Neutralize and rinse well.

Pad roll batching up method
AVCOZIM WET 4.0 – 8 g/l
AVCOTRYL HPH 0.5 – 2 g/l
Pad at 60-70°C, wrap with a plastic foil and store on a rotating roll for 4-8 hours.
Remove size by hot washing at 95°C. Use of 3-5 cc/l Soda caustic (50%) will improve desizing effect.
Neutralize and rinse well.
