AVCOSOFT UN is a universal softener which imparts a very soft and pleasant hand to cellulose, wool, and their blends with synthetics.
AVCOSOFT UN contains in its composition special smoothing aids, which improve the sew-ability of treated fabrics.
AVCOSOFT UN enables use of high speed sewing machines even when sewing knitted goods, without causing “holes” (ladder effect).
The softener is non-yellowing and can be applied in all kinds of dyeing and finishing machines.

PROPERTIES & USES:
- Provides very pleasant hand to cotton, wool and blends with synthetic fibres.
- Improves sew-ability of knits.
- Lowers essentially needle penetration forces and heating of the sewing needle.
- Can be applied by padding and by exhaust methods.
- Suitable for application in high-speed jets and rotary washers.
- Non-yellowing softener. Can stand ” Curthold test (phenolic yellowing).”
- Thermostable, non-volatile.
- Does not lower dyeing fastness properties of dyed yarns and fabrics.
- Suitable for softening before pigment printing.
- Easy handling due to it’s liquid consistency.
- Suitable for softening ready-made garments and denim articles.
- Is not precipitating with residues of most of the anionic washing-off agents used
in reactive dyeing.
APPLICATION:

EXHAUSTION METHOD:
Apply 2-4% o.w.g. AVCOSOFT UN, treat at pH 5-5.5 for 20-30 minutes at 40° C.

PADDING METHOD:
Prepare 20-40 g/l solution of AVCOSOFT UN, pad and dry.
