PROPERTIES & USES:
- Suitable for reductive clearing processes of dyeing made with disperse dyes. The
product removes the unifixed dyestuffs from the fibres surface, and improves the
washing and rubbing fastness properties of the dyed textile.
- The product contains a special protective additive which prevents redeposition of
loose dyestuffs.
- AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR helps to keep cellulose fibres unstained when dyeing blends of
polyester with cellulosic fibres.
- AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR is a liquid product and can be metered as is to the dyeing
machine.
- AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR is non-foaming.
- AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR is non hazardous at all.
- AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR is readily biodegradable.
- AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR is not suitable as a reducing agent in vat dyeing or for
stripping off dyestuff from dyes fibres.
APPLICATION:
AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR is recommended for use in discontinuous process, or in continuous ranges where the treatment time is long enough.
-
Reduction clearing in jet of dyeing machines:
Use the following recipe:
AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR 2 – 4 cc/l
Caustic Soda (50%) 3 – 5 cc/l
AVCO-LEVOLUZE WPE 1 – 2 cc/l
Treat at 80°c for 20 minutes followed hot and cold rinse. Acidify with acetic acid.
-
Reduction clearing in continuous range.
Recipe and procedure depends upon the machine type, consult AVCO-CHEM
