AVCO-BIOLIT NSO

LOW FOAMING UNIVERSAL WETTING AND WASHING AGENT

AVCO-BIOLIT NSO is a compound of low foaming wetting agents, emulsifiers and detergents, which possesses very good wetting and cleaning properties, and can therefore be use in a wide range of textile preparation and bleaching processes, such as de-sizing, bleaching, wetting and washing treatments. AVCO-BIOLIT NSO is composed of biodegradable ingredients with no potential for bio-accumulation, and with no evolution of toxic compounds during biodegradation. AVCO-BIOLIT NSO is environmentally friendly, and can be regarded as a “GREEN” product.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Low foaming detergent and wetting agent, applied in neutral, alkaline and mild acid range, for both cold and hot liquors, on all types of textiles.

2. Very efficient detergent and wetting agent for high-speed machines or those with tendency to foam, e.g. jet machines, overflow machines, high speed continuous bleaching, scouring and washing ranges.

3. Stable to chemicals normally used in textile preparation and bleaching processes, such as alkalis, mild acids, electrolytes, hypochlorite, sodium chlorite, persulphates and hydrogen peroxide.

4. Low foaming product, suitable for high speed continuous ranges.

5. Good wetting agent for bleaching and scouring operations.

6. Liquid product, can be dosed as it is in automatic dosing systems.

APPLICATION:

AVCO-BIOLIT NSO can be applied as it is, or pre diluted with cold water.

Diluted solution should be stirred occasionally while stored.

a. Padding methods:

1. On raw material use 2.0 – 6.0 g/l

2. On prepared material use 1.0 – 1.0 g/l

b. Exhaustion methods:

1. On raw material use 1.0 – 2.0 g/l

2. On prepared material use 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

RECOMMENDED RECIPES:

1. For cold oxidative desizing and bleaching of raw cotton fabric without pretreatment use the following recipe:

AVCO-BIOLIT NSO 4 – 6 g/l
AVCO-STABILIZER CPB 6 – 10 g/l
AVCO-SON OX 2 – 5 g/l
Caustic soda (50%) 30 – 40 cc/l
Hydrogen peroxide (50%) 30 – 50 cc/l

Pick-up: 80 – 100 %

Temp.: 20- 30°C

Dwelling time: 16-24 hours, wrapped with plastic cover and rotating.

Washing-off is done in a continuous washer (minimum 5 boxes)

Boxes 1 – 4 hot water 95°C

Box 5 warm water 50°C

Box 6 cold water

To improve the removal of impurities add a sequestering agent (2g/l AVCO-

POLYQUEST PDK) and 2-3 cc/l caustic soda (50%).

2. Continuous hot bleaching of desized fabrics:

AVCO-BIOLIT NSO 4 – 6 g/l
AVCO-STABILIZER HSF 6 – 10 g/l
Caustic soda (50%) 12 – 25 g/l
Hydrogen peroxide (50%) 20 – 40 cc/l

Pad and steam for 15-20 minutes with saturated steam at 102-104°C

Washing-off is done in the continuous washer (5-6 boxes).

3. Scouring synthetic fabric in the jet:

Use the following recipe:

AVCO-BIOLIT NSO 1 – 2 g/l
Soda ash 1 – 2 g/l

Scour at 70 – 80°C for 15-20 minutes followed by cold rinse.
