COLD PAD BATCH BLEACHING AND DE-SIZING AUXILIARY
AVCO-BIOLUZE KCB is a unique wetting and scouring agent suitable for cold pad batch
bleaching and de-sizing of cotton and cotton blend fabrics. Use of AVCO-BIOLUZE KCB
ensures complete removal of sizing agents with excellent absorbency and bleaching effect of the treated fabrics, without use of persulphates.AVCO-BIOLUZE KCB is composed of biodegradable ingredients with no potential for bio-accumulation, and with no evolution of toxic compounds during biodegradation.AVCO-BIOLUZE KCB is environmentally acceptable, and can be regarded as a “GREEN” product.

SPECIFICATION:

Appearance Almost colourless clear liquid, slightly viuscous.
Chemical nature Synergistic combination of nonionic, anionic and cationic surfactants with special additives.
Compatibility Can be used with all chemicals encountered in peroxide bleaching processes.
Density 1.0 g/cc
pH (10% sol.) 7 ± 1
Solubility Miscible with water at any ratio.
Stability to:water hardness, alkalis acids, electrolytes Very good under the usual conditions obtained in bleaching practice.
Storage stability Product freezes at O°C. Fully usable after thawing and mixing. When properly stored, storage stability at least 12 months

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. Excellent absorbency and whiteness of treated fabrics.
  2. Very fast wetting effect which provides level and maximum pick up of the
    bleaching
    liquor.
  3. Excellent removal of sizes such as starch, PVA, CMC and their blends.
  4. Very good soil suspending power.
  5. Low foaming.
  6. No use of persulphates in the de-sizing process ensures higher D.P values.

APPLICATION:

  1. AVCO-BIOLUZE KCB should be pre-diluted with cold water at a ratio of 1:2 before usage.
  2. Add AVCO-BIOLUZE KCB to the padding bath followed by all other ingredients of the bleaching recipe.

    RECOMMENDED RECIPE:

    For cold oxidative desizing and bleaching of grey cotton fabric without pretreatment use the following recipe:

    AVCO-BIOLUZE KCB 10-15 g/l
    AVCO STABILIZER CPB 8-10 g/l
    caustic (100%) 30-40 g/l
    hydrogen peroxide (35%) 50-70 cc/l %)

    Pick up:80-100%
    Temp.: 20-30°C
    Dwelling time: 16-24 hours, wrapped with plastic cover and rotating

    Washing off is done in a continuous washer by the following procedure:
    Box 1 -95°Cset up with2 cc/l NaOH (50%)
    Box 2 -95°Chot water
    Box 3 -95°Chot water
    Box 4 -95°Chot water
    Box 5 -50°Cwarm water
    Box 6 -cold water
