AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC

LOW-FOAMING DETERGENT

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC is a non-ionic surfactant composed of a blend of emulsifiers and detergents. The product has low foaming properties even in boiling bleaching bath. It can be used as a scouring agent, bleaching and dyeing auxiliary for preparation and dyeing of fibres, hanks, packages and fabrics made from cellulosic and synthetic fibres.
It is a multifunctional detergent with wetting, emulsifying and dispersing properties. It is very effective for removing lubricants from textiles.
It is recommended for pre-treatment processes in high-speed jets and in high-speed continuous ranges.
AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC is composed of biodegradable ingredients with no potential for bioaccumulation, and with no evolution of toxic compounds during biodegradation.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Excellent detergency, wetting, emulsifying and dispersing properties.

2. Good soil suspending properties, which can prevent any re-deposition of soil on dyed fabric during all dyeing cycle.

3. Very good emulsifier towards oils and lubricants which contained in raw fabrics and yarns. Highly recommended for removing texturizing oils , knitting oils, “sulzer” loom oils and silicone lubricants from all kind of fibres.

4. Stable to high temperature, suitable for dyeing at H.T. conditions.

5. Very low foaming, recommended for jet machines.

6. Good stability towards electrolytes as used in cotton bleaching and dyeing.

7. AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC is very versatile. Due to its excellent detergency it can be used in many wet processes such as scouring, bleaching, dyeing , soaping etc.

8. Easily soluble in treatment liquours.

APPLICATION:

Due to its wide versatility, AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC has a number of important uses for scouring and dyeing as follows:

1. Cotton and blends:

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC is recommended for all types of preparation and bleaching processes of textiles composed of cotton and blends with synthetics.

Following are dosage recommendation for various processes:

¨ Alkaline pre-treatment 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

¨ Pre-scouring 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

¨ Bleaching 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

¨ Dyeing 0.3 – 0.5 g/l

¨ Scouring knits containg spandex/lycra 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

2. Peroxide bleaching of cotton and cotton blends

a) Fill machine with water and add chemicals:

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

AVCO-SLIP AND (Bath lubricant) 0.5 – 1.5 g/l

b) Load fabric and run for 5-10 minutes.

c) To the same liquor add the bleaching auxiliaries, and start the bleaching process.

Use the following recipe for full bleach:

AVCO-STABILIZER HSF 0.5 – 1.0 g/l

H2O2 (50%) 6.0 – 8.0 cc/l

AVCO-LUX CBA- N 0.5 – 1.0 %

d) Run for 45-60 minutes at 90-95°C, followed by hot and cold rinse.

3. Polyester and blends

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC can be used in jet dyeing machines as one bath scour/dye auxiliary. A typical cycle for bulked polyester piece goods is as follows:

a) Load the machine, run for 3-5 minutes to remove water soluble and emulsifiable matters and drop the bath.

b) Add a sequestering agent ( AVCO-TRYL PN) and adjust the bath to pH 5-5.5

c) Raise the temperature to 40°C, add AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC (0.5-1 g/l) and a levelling agent (AVCO-NAL PLD).

d) Increase the temperature to 60°C and add the dyestuffs.

e) After circulating, raise the temperature to 125-130°C and dye to shade.

4. Polyamide

AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC can be used effectively for the scour/dyeing of bulked polyamide stockings and other polyamide articles.

Dosage recommendation:

¨ Scour/dyeing bulked polyamide hosiery: Use: 0.5-1.5 g/l

¨ Scour/dyeing micro fibre knits in jet machines: Use: 1.0-2.0 g/l.

5. Polyamide blends with spandex/lycra AVCO-BIOLUZE MAX-HC is highly recommended for removing silicone lubricants and knitting oils from polyamide knits containing high percentage of spandex yarns.
