APPLICATION:
I.Dosing recommendations are the following:
At the boil 2.0 – 5.0g/l
At 102-115 0 C 1.5 – 3.0 g/l
At 120-1300 C0.5 – 1.5 g/l
When dyeing darker shade a higher dosing is recommended. The application amount of AVCOCAR NTO depends on dyeing temperature and colour depth, type of polyester fibre, liquor ratio, and machine type.
II.Dyeing procedure of polyester at the boil
1. Scour and rinse fabrics or yarns thoroughly.
2. Set dye – bath at 500C and add the following ingredients:.
AVCOCAR NTO 2 – 5 g/l
AVCONAL PLD 1 – 2g/l
AVCOCID ACD 1 – 2 g/l
Adjust pH to 4.5 – 5.
3.Run goods while heating to 600C.
4.Add slowly sieved dispersion of disperse dyestuffs.
5.Raise temperature to the boil over 30 minutes
6.Continue to dye for 60 – 90 minutes at the boil. Check color yield.
7.Cool to 850C, overflow and rinse
8.Reductive clearing with:
Caustic Soda (45 Be) 2 – 4 cc/l
AVCO-BIOCLEAR GLR 2 – 3 g/l (or Hydrosulfite)
AVCO-CLEAN SUPER 1 g/l (optional)
Treat at 70-800C, for 20 minutes, neutralize and rinse.
III.HT dyeing of Polyester: dye with –
AVCOCAR NTO 0.5 – 1.5 g/l
AVCONAL PLD 1.0 – 2.0 g/l
AVCOCID ACD 0.5 – 1.5 g/l
Adjust pH to 4.5-5
Dye for 30-45 min. at 120-1300C.
IV.Levelling and repairing of faulty dyeing in the jet (H.T.)
AVCOCAR NTO 2.0 – 4.0 g/l
Adjust pH to 4.5 – 5
Treat at 120-1300C for 30-60 minutes.
V. Levelling and repairing of faulting dyeing at the boil.
AVCOCAR NTO 4.0 – 8.0 g/l
Adjust to pH 4.5 – 5
Treat at the boil for 20-40 minutes.
VI. Complete stripping – off disperse dyestuffs.
AVCOCAR NTO. 2 – 4 g/l
Caustic Soda (50%) 3 cc/l
Hydrosulfite 4 g/l
Treat for 45 – 60 minutes at 120 – 1300C.
VII.Optical brightening:
Addition of 2 – 4 g/l AVCOCAR NTO to the O.B. bath at the boil, producess a marked improvement of the brightening effect.
VIII.Jig dyeing
In jig dyeing, set the dye bath at the boil , add AVCOCAR NTO over two ends and then add dye dispersion over two ends.
