AVCO-GEN KRK

PRINTING AND PADDING AUXILIARY

AVCOGEN KRK is a unique padding auxiliary, for increasing the liquor pick-up and improving the appearance of dyeing with reactive dyes by the cold pad batch method, dyeing polyester cotton by the thermosol method and increasing the shade depth in pigment dyeing. It is used in printing processes to increase brilliancy and to lower bleeding, and to produce sharper designs. The product does not contain any volatile ingredients, and is not air-polluting at-all.

SPECIFICATION:

Appearance Colourless, clear viscous liquid.
Chemical nature Aqueous dispersion of acrylamide copolymer.

Storage Freezes at O° C. Fully usable after thawing and mixing. Shelf life is at least 12 months.

APPLICATION:

1.Pigment dyeing by padding method:
AVCOGEN KRK increases depth of full shades produced with pigments. Use of the product improves the appearance of the coloured fabric, and its brilliancy. For best results use 20-30 g/l AVCOGEN KRK together with all other components of the pigment dyeing recipe.
2.Cold pad batch dyeing of reactive dyestuffs:
Addition of AVCOGEN KRK together with a penetrating agent (AVCOTEX DAN) results in substantial increase in liquor pick up at constant pressure.
This effect is more pronounced with bulky knit materials than with densely woven fabrics.

AVCOGEN KRK binds the liquor to the fibre even when the pick up is high (up to 150%), and prevents it from seeping out when the material is batched up. The increase in liquor pick up results in deeper shades, better dye penetration and improves levelness. The risk of edge marks in tubular knits is much reduced, even with grey goods.

Use the following recipe: (to be added on top of dyestuff and other auxiliaries)

Pre treated fabric: Grey fabric:
AVCOGEN KRK 10 – 15 g/l AVCOGEN KRK 10 – 20 g/l
3.AVCOGEN KRK is used in the padding liquor for dyeing polyester cotton by the thermosol process. The product prevents frosting and improves the appearance of the dyeing. Use 5-15 g/l AVCOGEN KRK in the padding bath.
4.Printing:
Addition of 10-20 g/kg of AVCOGEN KRK to acid, disperse and reactive printing paste, improve brilliancy and levelness of the printed area.
Definition of delicate designs and sharp borders of printing areas can be achieved by addition of 10-20 g/kg AVCOGEN KRK.
In resist printing processes, addition of 12-25 g/kg AVCOGEN KRK ensures more accurate and sharp borders of the motif designs.
5.AVCOGEN KRK is used in continuous bleaching process when a high pick-up level of bleaching liquor is needed. Such a process is the “flex-nip” continuous bleaching of woven cellulosic fabrics.
