AVCOL 100 is a non-surface active dispersing agent used for the washing-off of cellulosic fabrics and yarns dyed and printed with reactive dyestuffs. The product offers high level of wash fastness properties to the treated goods which cannot be achieved with detergents.

PROPERTIES & USES:
AVCOL 100 has well balanced properties of a good dispersing agent, sequestering agent and a protective colloid which offers the following advantages:
- AVCOL 100 prevents redeposition of the reactive dyes hydrolyzate onto the
cellulose
fibres surface in the end of the dyeing process.
- AVCOL 100 is sequestering and dispersing calcium and magnesium present in the
water
which may interfere in the washing-off process.
- AVCOL 100 is non-foaming at all, and can be used in all types of high speed jets.
- AVCOL 100 is a liquid product, and can be metered very easily to the washing
machine.
- AVCOL 100 has no influence on dyestuffs containing metal complexes in the
molecule
structure, and produces no change in shade and no decrease in normal light
fastness of
reactive dyestuffs.
- Improves the rubbing fastness and wash fastness of dyed and printed goods.
APPLICATION:
General dosage recommended is 1-2 g/l.
For critical dyes such as Reactive Turquoise it is recommended to apply a fixing agent
such as 1-2% AVCOFIX – FF (fixing agent free of formaldehyde) after the soaping-off process.
