AVCO-L PAA

COMPLEXING / DISPERSING AGENT FOR DYEING AND PREPARATION
AVCO-L PAA is a complexing agent, which combines protective colloid properties together with dispersing and complexing properties.
AVCO-L PAA is used as a versatile additive in textile procedures such as preparation, dyeing and soaping-off.
AVCO-L PAA has no effect on shade of dyed fibres.
AVCO-L PAA is used for treatment of cotton, and cotton blends with synthetic fibres.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. AVCO-L PAA is an excellent dispersing agent, that operates as a crystal distorter and threshold inhibitor, which prevents water hardness from precipitation onto textile fibres and machine walls.

2. AVCO-L PAA is an efficient protective colloid, which prevents re-deposition of impurities onto textile fibers.

3. AVCO-L PAA loosens from the fibers and disperses in water phase metal salts, and other precipitated materials found on fibres structure.

4. AVCO-L PAA does not sequester metals which are included in dyestuff molecules such as copper in phthalocyanine derivatives. No influence on shades of dyed fibres.

5. AVCO-L PAA is stable at a wide pH range of 4 – 14.

  1. AVCO-L PAA disperses and sequesters water hardness and heavy metal ions contaminating raw fibers, salts and other chemicals used in preparation, and dyeing procedures.
  2. AVCO-L PAA is nitrogen and phosphorus free, with no potential for bioaccumulation and with no evolution of toxic compounds during biodegradation.

APPLICATION:

1. AVCO-L PAA should be added to the treatment bath before other additives or dyestuffs.

2. AVCO-L PAA can be metered to continuous ranges as is or pre-diluted at any ratio.

GUIDING RECIPES:

1. PREPARATION PROCEDURES:

a. AVCO-L PAA is very beneficial in scouring bath after de-sizing treatment. Removal of sizes from fabrics is much better and fabric absorbency is improved.

Use 0.5-1.5 gr/l.

b. In pre-washing processes before bleaching or dyeing, addition of AVCO-L PAA improves very much dirt removal and prevents re-deposition.

Use 0.5-1.5 gr/l.

2. DYEING PROCEDURES

In reactive dyeing bath apply 0.5-1.5 gr/l of AVCO-L PAA. Add the product before
adding all other alkalis, salts and dyes to the dyeing bath.

3. SOAPING OFF PROCEDURES

a. AVCO-L PAA is a non surface active washing preparation, that is used for after washing of reactives. The product is non foaming and there is no need of

anti-foams.

Use 0.5-1.5 gr/l.

b. AVCO-L PAA is used also as a washing-off agent for cotton fabrics printed with reactive dyestuffs.

Use 0.5-1.5 gr/l.
