PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Highly effective leveling and dispersing properties.

2. Very good suspending and dispersing properties towards dirt.

3. Contains a synergistic combination of leveling , dispersing agents and emulsifiers which can prevent re-deposition of soil, dirt and oils onto the fabric during the dyeing cycle.

4. Contains an acidic buffer used to set a constant acidic pH during the dyeing process.

5. Very good results when dyeing in systems difficult to level such as beams and yarn machines.

6. Shortens dyeing time, even when increasing heating rate to 4°C/minutes, dyeing results are very even and level.

7. Levellness of trichromate dyeings and other dye combinations are excellent.

8. AVCO-LEV ADL is a one-shot product replacing other four chemicals, the result is more reproducibility in the dyeing processes, less weighing and handling of various chemicals in the dyehouse and more storage capacity.

APPLICATION:

AVCO-LEV ADL is added to the dye bath before the dye addition.

Recommended usage: 1.5 – 2.5 g/l

In difficult conditions, usage of 3 g/l can produce excellent results.

Procedure:

1. Load the machine, run for 3 – 5 minutes with water to remove emulsifiable oils and dirt, and drop the bath (optional).

2. Add fresh water and AVCO-LEV ADL and circulate for 3-5 minutes.

pH should be 4 – 5.

3. Start heating up, add dyestuffs at 50 – 60°C.

4. Raise the temperature to 130°C and hold for 30 minutes.

5. Cool down to 70°C and drop the bath.

6. Cold rinsing or reduction clearing procedure if needed.

For getting maximum coverage of barriness, select the most suitable dyestuffs.

Apply 2 – 3% o.w.f. of AVCO-LEV ADL, dye at 130 – 135°C for 45 – 60 minutes.
