READY MADE WHITE PASTE FOR TEXTILE PRINTING

AVCO-LOR WHITE SEL is a fine dispersion of titanium dioxide in aqueous paste ready for printing white patterns on knitted fabrics.
The product contains a very flexible and elastic binder, suitable for printing white and opaque printing designs on knits containing high percentage of spandex / lycra.

Storage	Store in a cool place, in closed drum, at temperature above 0°C, protect from frost. When properly stored, the storage time is at least 12 months.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. Recommended for printing white and coloured mat designs, with a good coverage of the printed area.

2. After drying and curing the printed area is elastic, and can stand repeated stretches without cracking.

3. Suitable for printing with fine screens types on flat bed and rotary printing machines.

4. Suitable for woven and knitted fabrics, made of natural, synthetics and blends. (The dyes used on synthetic fabrics should be fast to sublimation).

5. Recommended for printing knits containing high percentage of elastomeric yarns.

6. The handle of the printed fabrics is not brittle and coarse.

7. No skin formation after prolonged storage. The drum should be kept tightly closed.

8. Good washing and rubbing fastness of the printed areas when cured properly.

APPLICATION:

1. AVCO-LOR WHITE SEL should be printed as it is.

2. After printing, dry at 120°C and cure for 5-3 minutes at 130- 150°C. It is possible to increase the fixation temperature up to 180°C and to shorten the fixation time to 1.5 minutes.

3. If lower viscosity is desired, add small amount of electrolyte such as ammonium sulphate or add 5-10 % of water followed by high speed mixing. For increasing the viscosity, use AVCO-CLEAR – NP.

4. For improving the fastness results, add 0.5-1.5% AVCO-PRINTFIX L.

5. AVCO-LOR WHITE SEL can be used to produce coloured matt effects. Blend with a standard printing paste to the desired concentration, adjust the viscosity with AVCO CLEAR-NP, and add the needed amount of AVCO-LOR pigments.

6. AVCO-LOR WHITE SEL is used as it is, but it is possible to reduce the white pigment concentration by blending with a clear paste, to produce weaker white effects.
