PROPERTIES & USES:
AVCONAL PS is an highly active levelling and dispersing agent for disperse dyes, for
use when dyeing polyester fibres and their blends with cellulose or wool fibres. Its
very good levelling action during the heating and uptake phase makes it possible,
depending on the equipment used, to obtain a reduction in the heating time, while
achieving good levelness.
AVCONAL PS has no retarding effect when used in the amounts recommended. Because of
the dispersing action, it is not necessary to add a special dispersing agent to the
dye-bath.
APPLICATION:
AVCONAL PS is added to dyebath prior to adding the dye. A short pre-circulation of the bath is advisable. Addition of the product to the concentrated dye should be avoided. The desired effect is generally achieved with 1-2 g/l AVCONAL PS .
