AVCO-PAL LUB

HUMECTANT AND LUBRICANT FOR PRINTING
AVCOPAL LUB is an humectant and lubricant used in textile pigment printing, to minimize clogging of printing screens during long runs of operation.

SPECIFICATION:

Appearance Clear, colorless liquid.
Chemical nature Aqueous blend of surfactants.
Compatibility Can be mixed with all types of chemicals encountered in textile pigment printing.
Ionicity Nonionic
pH (10% sol.) 7 ± 0.5
Solubility Miscible with water at any ratio.
Storage Stable for at least 12 months.

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. Lower tendency of binder film to coagulate and dry-up on screens, due to heating
    up of
    the paste in hot climate.
  2. Disperses pigment residues which can agglomerate in the screen.
  3. Re-disperses un-cured binder films that dried up in the screen.
  4. Keeps screen clean and open during long runs of printing.
  5. Screen cleaning operation, after printing or in between color way changes,
    becomes
    much easier.

APPLICATION:

  1. Add to the printing paste after all the thickener is incorporated, before addition of the binder and the pigments.
  2. Usage level should be 5-10 g/kg.
