AVCO-PAL PPR

ADDITIVE FOR PIGMENT DYEING PROCESS
AVCOPAL PPR is an additive to pigment dyeing bath by the padding method, AVCOPAL PPR is lowering the tendency of binder and pigment particles to agglomerate on the padder rolls and contaminate the dyed fabrics.

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. Addition of AVCOPAL PPR to the padding bath containing Acrylic latex, lowers the
    tendency of film forming on the padding rollers. The product disperses the
    polymer
    particles which tend to stick together on the rollers, without affecting the
    binding
    properties of the Acrylic Polymer.
  2. AVCOPAL PPR contains a special additive which is dispersing aglomerates of
    organic
    pigments and avoids staining of the padding rollers and the dyed fabrics with
    dried pigment particles.
  3. The product can be used also in pigment printing to eliminate problems of screen
    clogging when using binders sensitive to high shearing stress.

APPLICATION:

  1. Pre-dilute AVCOPAL PPR in 2-3 parts of water, and add to the padding bath at a concentration of 1-3 gr/l.
  2. For pigment printing add 2-4 g/kg AVCOPAL PPR to the printing paste recipe.
