AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL is a unique textile auxiliary, which combines protective colloid properties together with dispersing and sequestering properties.
AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL is used as a versatile additive in textile procedures such as preparation, dyeing, soaping-off and printing.SPECIFICATION:

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL is an excellent dispersing agent, that acts as a crystal
    distorter and threshold inhibitor.
  2. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL is an efficient protective colloid, which prevents re-
    deposition of impurities onto textile fibers.
  3. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL loosens from the fibers and disperses in water phase metal
    salts, waxes, pectines and other precipitated materials found on fibers structure.
  4. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL improves penetration of treatment liquors through the fibers
    structure.
  5. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL improves penetration of treatment liquors through the fibers
    structure.
  6. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL disperses and sequesters water hardness and heavy metal
    impurities
    contaminating raw fibers, salts, thickeners and other chemicals used in
    preparation,
    dyeing and printing procedures.

APPLICATION:

  1. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL should be added to the treatment bath or the printing paste before other additives or dyestuffs.
  2. AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL can be metered to continuous ranges as is or pre-diluted at any ratio.
GUIDING RECIPES:
  1. PREPARATION PROCEDURES:
    • AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL is very beneficial in scouring bath after de-sizing treatment. Removal of sizes from fabrics is much better and fabric absorbency is improved.
      Use 1-3 gr/l.
    • In pre-washing and scouring procedure before bleaching or dyeing, addition of AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL improves very much dirt removal and prevents re-deposition.
      Use 1-3 gr/l.
  2. DYEING PROCEDURES
    • AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL enables dyeing of raw cotton and polyester-cotton knits without pretreatment.
      Use 2-3 gr/l in the dyeing bath together with 1-2 gr/l of AVCO-BIOLUZE DCB or AVCO-BIOLUZE GSB. Addition of a penetrating agent such as AVCOTEX DE-200 is recommended.
    • Addition of 1-2 gr/l AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL to the dyeing bath promotes level dyeing and helps to prevent deposits and other contamination caused by water and chemicals used in the dyeing bath. Shades will be brighter and reproduction will be better.
  3. SOAPING OFF PROCEDURES
    • AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL is a non surface active washing preparation, that is used for after washing of reactives. Number of washing cycles can be reduced. The product is non foaming and no need of anti-foams.
      Use 1-3 gr/l.
    • AVCO-POLYQUST KAL is an excellent after washing agent for cotton fabrics printed with reactive dyestuff. AVCO-POLYQUST KAL keeps white ground from being stained by loose dyestuff in the washing liquor.
      Use 1-3 gr/l.
  4. PRINTING
    Printing thickeners are sensitive to water hardness and to heavy metal impurities contaminating various chemicals used in printing paste recipes. The efficiency of the thickeners is deteriorating, and there is a risk of screenss clogging. Addition of 1-3 gr/kg AVCO POLYQUEST KAL to the printing paste can prevent such problems.
