PROPERTIES & USES:

1. AVCO-PRINTOCHLOR TPM contains stabilized permanganate oxidizing agent.

2. The product is stable for 12 month at least when properly stored in closed drums.

3. Suitable for application with all types of screens, which can stand strong oxidizing products.

4. Suitable for discolouring printing effects on all types of indigo and sulphur pre-dyed fabrics.

5. Suitable for brushing on indigo and sulphur pre-dyed denim fabrics and garments.

APPLICATION:

I. Printing process

1. The printing screens should be resistant to strong oxidizing materials. Medium screen “ meshs “ are preferred.

2. Print and dry at the lowest temperature possible (<90°C ) . Printing speed should be slow in a way that the fabric will stay wet in the drying chamber as long time as possible.

After drying, hold the printed fabric for 2-3 hours and carry on with the washing process.

II. Brushing

AVCO-PRINTOCHLOR TPM can be brushed on denim articles according to any style on denim articles. After brushing store the articles for 1-2 hours and carry on with the washing process.

III. Washing process

Wash in a bath containg 3-6 g/l of sodium bi-sulphite and 1-2 g/l of AVCO-LEVOLUZE 200 at a temperature of-60-70°C , followed by hot and cold rinse.

REMARKS:

1. The fabric should be desized and washed before the printing process.

2. The discolouring effect can be modified according to the concentration of the permanganate and the depth of penetration of the printing paste into the fabric. It is possible to dilute the product with AVCO-PRINTOCHLOR T or with water, to lower the discolouring effect.

3. The viscosity of the ready made paste can be decreased by adding more water.

4. After washing, the fabric can be further treated with cellulase enzymes by the “stone-washing” process, and / or by chlorination. It can be re-dyed also with light colours ( recatives, directs etc) in order to produce very interesting designs.

5. Un-used AVCO-PRINTOCHLOR TPM should be kept in covered drum for further use.

6. AVCO-PRINTOCHLOR TPM is highly oxidizing material. Handle it with care when using wear suitable gloves, apron and safety glasses.
