SOLVENT SCOURING AGENT
AVCO-SOLVATOL NT is a unique blend of detergents, emulsifiers and special solvents.
AVCO-SOLVATOL NT is designed to remove oils, greases, fats, graphite and dirt contaminated textiles during processing of fibers, yarns, knits or woven fabrics.
AVCO-SOLVATOL NT produces very stable emulsion when dissolved in water.
The product is free rinsing, and all solvents contained in the product are removed from the fabric during preparation process.
AVCO-SOLVATOL NT has excellent detergency and emulsifying properties, and can solve difficult problems of dirty fabrics that cannot be achieved with other detergents.

SPECIFICATION:

Appearance Clear, light yellowish liquid.
Chemical nature Blend of anionic and nonionic surfactants and solvents. (hydrocarbons and alcohols).
Compatibility
  1. Compatible with anionic and nonionic products.
  2. Can be used with hard water.
  3. Can be used in pH range of 4-12
  4. Is not compatible with cationics.
Ionicity Anionic.
pH (10% solution) 8 ± 1.
Solubility Produces stable emulsion in water at any concentration.
Storage Stable for at least 12 months. Do not store in direct sun or in hot places. Product is frost stable.

APPLICATION:

AVCO-SOLVATOL NT is normally used in conjunction with alkaline builders and nonionic detergents for the scouring of fabrics of all weights, when grease graphite and oil are a problem.
Concentration of 1-4 g/l should be sufficient to cover almost all scouring situations. Normally, a scouring temperature not exceeding 70-80° C is recommended.

TYPICAL RECIPES FOR BATCH PROCESS:

  1. Pretreatment of cotton and blends

    AVCO-SOLVATOL NT 1 – 4 gr/l
    Soda ash1 – 2 gr/l
    AVCOTRYL PN1 – 2 gr/l

    Treat for 20 minutes at 70 – 80° C, rinse warm and cold.

  2. Pretreatment of polyester and polyamide yarns and fabrics.

    AVCO-SOLVATOL NT 0.5 – 3 gr/l
    Soda-ash 1.0 – 2gr/l

    Treat for 15-10 minutes at 60-70° C , rinse warm and cold.
  3. Removing of lubricating oils from lycra containing fabrics
    Treat with the following recipe:

    AVCO-SOLVATOL NT 1 – 3 gr/l
    AVCOBLANC ROA-CONC 1 – 2 gr/l
    AVCOTRYL PN 1 – 2 gr/l

    Treat for 30 minutes at 60-80° C .
  4. Spotting

    This method is used for local stain removal. Dilute the product 1:1 with water. Brush the oil marks. Do not let dry. Rinse thoroughly.

    SAFETY:
    AVCO-SOLVATOL NT contains flammable solvents. The product should not be stored in hot places, near naked flame and other heat sources. Store separately from oxidizing agents. Use the product in a well ventilated working area. In case of insufficient ventilation wear a suitable respiratory mask.
