AVCO-SON OX

OXIDIZING AGENT

AVCOSON OX is an oxidizing agent used for cold peroxide bleaching and starch desizing processes.
The product is suitable for desizing and bleaching of cotton and polyester – cotton fabrics.SPECIFICATION:

Appearance	White, crystaline powder
Chemical nature	Stabilized sodium persulphate
pH (10% sol.)	4.5 – 5.5
Safety	Strong oxidizing material. Do not store together with flammable products. Do not store with reducing agents. Check M.S.D.S. before use
Solubility	Soluble in water (500 gr/l)
Storage stability	Stable for at least 12 months when stored in closed packages, in dry and cool place.

APPLICATION:

AVCOSON OX should be pre-diluted with cold water before use.
Aqueous solutions should be used during the same day.

Following are some guiding recipes:

COLD PAD BATCH BLEACHING AND DESIZING

Use the following recipe:

AVCO-BLANKINOL CB 12 – 15 g/l
AVCOSON OX 4 – 6 g/l
Caustic Soda (50%)40 – 60 cc/l
Peroxide (50%) 40 – 60 cc/l

Pad, wrap with a plastic cover and dwell in a rotating station for 16-20 hours, wash hot and rinse.

CONTINUOUS HOT DESIZING

Use the following recipe:

AVCO-BIOLIT NFB 4 – 6 g/l
AVCOSON OX 4 – 6 g/l
Caustic Soda (50%)40 – 120 cc/l

Pad, steam for 10-20 minutes at 102°C -104°C, followed by hot wash and rinse.
