COMPOUNDED THICKENER FOR REACTIVE DYES PRINTING |
|||||||||||||||
AVCO-TAN R-330 is a combined thickener developed for the production of reactive dyes printing paste. It is suitable for use in automatic colour kitchens. AVCO-TAN R-330 has all advantages of the synthetic thickeners such as increased colour yield and brightness of shades, while it is less sensitive to electrolytes compared to synthetic thickeners. AVCO-TAN R-330 exhibits improved washing ability of the printed fabrics. AVCO-TAN R-330 imparts improved definition of the printing designs. SPECIFICATIONS:
PROPERTIES & USES: 1. Good electrolyte stability. 2. Increased colour yield along with outstanding brightness of shades. 3. Produces smooth paste during short mixing time. No need for long time maturing of the printing paste before use. 4. Printing paste viscosity is stable for long storage time. 5. Excellent washing-off properties. 6. Does not react with reactive dyestuffs. 7. Very good penetration properties into high pile fabrics. 8. Produces thixotropic printing paste, which enables to control the flow properties of the printing paste. 9. No need for white spirit for the production of the printing paste. 10. Does not bleed out of the rotary screens when the printing machine stops. 11. Does not clog the printing screens. 12. Very easy to adjust the viscosity, no need for prolonged swelling time. 14. No dust formation during the paste preparation. 15. Lower usage of oxidizing agents and urea in the production of printing paste. APPLICATION: 1. When preparing the printing paste stock, all the chemicals should be added to the soft water and allowed to dissolve prior to adding the AVCO-TAN R-330. The thickener should be added while mixing, it will easily disperse and fully hydrate in 15-20 minutes. 2. Stock paste formulations for reactive dyes: Water 835 – 695 AVCO-POLYQUEST KAL 0 – 5 Urea 100 – 200 Sodium bicarbonate 20 – 25 AVCO-SON LL 5 – 15 AVCO-TAN R-330 40 – 55 1000 3. Printing paste preparation: The dyestuffs should be added to the stock paste while stirring. If needed, in very high dye concentration, the viscosity adjustment is done easily by adding the thickener during high speed mixing. In automatic colour kitchens, it is recommended to adjust the paste viscosity by adding a liquid thickener AVCO-TAN REP. 4. Fixation: The fixation should be done with the normal procedure required by the type of the fixation machine and the dyestuffs used. 5. Washing-off: The washing-off should be done with soft water, or with the tap water provided the addition of complexing agents. The temperature, the type of washing aids and the procedures depend on the machinery and the dyestuffs type. (For more details refer to the technical bulletins of AVCO-RON HWF).
