AVCO-TRYL ADC

ACIDIC COMPLEXING AGENT

AVCO-TRYL ADC is an acidic complexing agent, used for demineralization of textile fabrics contaminated with calcium, magnesium and other heavy metal residues.
The use of AVCO-TRYL ADC in demineralizing process before bleaching, or in the washing-off, ensures better whiteness and improves the hydrophilicity of the treated fabrics.
AVCO-TRYL ADC is recommended also for neutralizing bleached fabrics before finishing.

Safety Acidic product, handle with care. Use rubber gloves and goggles.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. AVCO-TRYL ADC is extracting precipitates of iron, calcium, magnesium and other heavy metal contaminations from textile fibres.

2. The complexing capacity of heavy metal ions is maintained when raising the pH to alkaline.

3. In alkaline baths AVCO-TRYL ADC is acting also as an excellent dispersing agent of hard water, even when the degree of hardness is high. The product is dispersing heavy metals precipitates, and keep them in a very fine dispersion, to avoid crystallization onto the textile fibres.

4. Demineralization with AVCO-TRYL ADC before peroxide bleaching process ensures higher whiteness values and lower risk of catalytic damage.

5. Neutralizing the fabrics after continuous peroxide bleaching with AVCO-TRYL ADC ensures high whiteness results.

6. AVCO-TRYL ADC is non volatile and has no unpleasant odour.

7. Does not contain inorganic acids, and is not regarded as dangerous or corrosive.

APPLICATION:

1. Demineralization of cotton fabrics and yarns

AVCO-PAL SFN 1.0 – 2.0 g/l

AVCO-TRYL ADC 0.5 – 3.0 g/l

Treat at 60-70°C for 10-20 minutes.

Drop the bath, rinse hot and cold.

2. Pad Batch Demineralization process

Prepare a solution containing the following:

AVCO-TRYL ADC 3.0 – 10.0 g/l

AVCO-BILUZE MAX-HC 1.5 – 4.0 g/l

Pad in warm solution 60-80°C.

Dwell for 1-6 hours.

Rinse hot and cold until neutral pH is obtained.

3. Continuous Demineralization process

Prepare a solution containing the following:

AVCO-TRYL ADC 2.0 – 8.0 g/l

AVCO-PAL SFN 1.0 – 5.0 g/l

Pad in hot solution (80-90°C).

Rinse hot and cold until neutral pH is obtained.

4. Washing-off bleached fabric

Apply 0.5-3.0 g/l of AVCO-TRYL ADC in the final washing bath of peroxide bleached fabrics in order to neutralize excess of alkalinity and to remove water hardness residues.
