AVCO-TRYL EX

ACIDIC COMPLEXING AGENT

AVCOTRYL EX is an acidic complexing – dispersing agent used for de-mineralization of textile fabrics contaminated with calcium, magnesium and iron residues.Use of AVCOTRYL EX enables to perform an acidic treatment, followed by alkaline peroxide bleaching process, using the same bath. This procedure saves water and machine time.SPECIFICATION:

Appearance Slightly yellowish, clear liquid.
Chemical nature Aqueous solution of partially neutralized organic acids, and complexing agents.
Compatibility Product as is shuld not be mixed with concentrated alkalis.
Density (g/cc) App. 1.14-1.18
PH (10g/l sol) 3.5-4.5
Solubility Miscible with water at any ratio
Storage Stable for at least 12 months.

PROPERTIES & USES:

  1. AVCOTRYL EX is extracting precipitates of iron, calcium and magnesium non-
    soluble contaminations from textile fibres.
  2. The complexing capacity toward heavy metal ions is increasing when raising the
    pH to alkaline pH.
  3. In alkaline bath AVCOTRYL EX is acting also as an excellent dispersing agent of
water hardness even when the quantity of total hardness is above the
stoichiometric ratio. The product is dispersing calcium and iron precipitates, and
keep them in a very fine dispersion, to avoid crystallization on the textile
    fabrics.
  4. AVCOTRYL EX is a very mild acid, and is not lowering the tensile strength of
    cellulosic fabrics and yarns.
  5. AVCOTRYL EX is non-foaming at all.
  6. The product is stable in acidic and alkaline baths.
  7. AVCOTRYL EX is an excellent booster to improve detergency in preparation and
bleaching processes. Acting as a protective colloid and dispersant to avoid re-
deposition of suspended dirt on the treated textiles.

APPLICATION:

DEMINERALIZATION OF COTTON FABRICS AND YARNS
AVCO-BIOLUZE DCB 1 – 2g/l
AVCOTRYL EX 1 – 4g/l
Treat at 80°C for 20-40 minutes.
Drop bath, rinse hot and cold.
ONE BATH TWO STEPS DEMINERALIZING AND BLEACHING PROCESS:
After the demineralization process, as explained above do not drop bath. To the same liquor add caustic soda, circulate for 5 minutes, and add all other chemicals needed for the peroxide bleaching process.
Caustic soda (50%) 2.5 – 3cc/l
AVCO-STABILIZER HSF 1.0 – 2 g/l
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (50%) 2.0 – 4 g/l
Treat at 90-95°c for 30-45 min.
DESIZING OF COTTON WOVEN FABRICS IN PAD-ROLL PROCESS
To the alph-amylase desizing bath add 1-3 g/l of AVCOTRYL EX according to the following recipe.
AVCOZIM WET 3 – 6 g/l
AVCOTRYL EX 1 – 3 g/l
pH 5-5.5 , Temp. – 60-70°C.
Pad, roll for 4 – 6 hours and wash-off at 90-95°C.
To the washing-off liquor add 2-3 cc/l Caustic Soda (50%).
