AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP

HIGHLY CONCENTRATED COMPLEXING / DISPERSING AGENT FOR DYEING AND PREPARATION

AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is a unique textile auxiliary, which combines protective colloid properties together with dispersing and complexing properties torwards heavy metals, iron oxides and Ca/Mg Carbonates.
AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is used as a versatile additive in textile procedures such as preparation, bleaching dyeing and soaping-off.
AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is used for treatment of cellulose, polyester, polyamide and their blends in fibres, yarns and fabrics.
AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP does not influence the shade of metal containing dyes and thus is highly recommended as a sequestering agent in dyeing processes.
AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is an highly concentrated product which should be pre diluted before use.

PROPERTIES & USES:

1. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is an excellent complexing/dispersing agent, that operates as a crystal distorter and threshold inhibitor, which prevents water hardness from precipitation onto textile fibres and machine walls.

2. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is an efficient protective colloid, which prevents re-deposition of impurities onto textile fibres.

3. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP loosens from the fibres and disperses in water phase metal salts, waxes, pectins and other precipitated materials found on fibres structure.

4. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP does not sequester metals which are included in the dyestuff molecules such as copper in phthalocyanine derivatives.

5. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is stable at a wide pH range of 1 – 13.

6. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is stable at high temperature and hence suitable for HT dyeing conditions.

7. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP disperses and sequesters water hardness and heavy metal ions contaminating raw fibres, salts and other chemicals used in preparation, and dyeing procedures.

8. On top of its properties as a complexing agent, AVCO-TRYL PC also acts as a dispersing agent, in a way that when the concentration of metal ions in the water is above its complexing capacity, the product will disperse the excess hardness as a fine dispersion and will prevent re-deposition onto the textiles and/or on the machine walls.

APPLICATION:

1. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP should be added to the treatment bath before other additives or dyestuffs.

2. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP should be pre-diluted with water at ratio 1:1 -1:3 before dosing to the textile treatment machine.

GUIDING RECIPES:

1. PREPARATION PROCEDURES:

a. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is very beneficial in the scouring bath after desizing treatment. The removal of the sizes from the fabrics is much better and the fabric absorbency is improved. Dosage is 0.2 – 0.6 g/l.

b. In pre-washing and scouring procedures before bleaching or dyeing, the addition of AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP improves very much the dirt removal and prevents re-deposition. Dosage is 0.2 – 0.6 g/l.

2. DYEING PROCEDURES

a. The addition of 0.2 -0.4 g/l of AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP to the dyeing bath promotes levelled dyeing and helps to prevent deposits and other contaminating agents caused by water and chemicals used in the dyeing bath. The shades are brighter and the reproducibility is better.

b. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is an excellent complexing agent for dyeing polyester. The addition of 0.2 – 0.4 g/l of AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP will eliminate any disturbance which may come from the water hardness.

3. SOAPING-OFF PROCEDURES

a. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is a non-surface active washing preparation, that is used for after washing of reactives. The number of washing cycles can be reduced. The product is non foaming and there is no need of anti-foams. Dosage is 0.2 -0.4 g/l.

b. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP is an excellent after washing agent for cotton fabrics printed with reactive dyestuffs. AVCO-TRYL FE-ZP prevents the white grounds from staining by the presence of the hydrolysed dyestuffs in the washing liquor. Dosage is 0.2 – 0.4 g/l.
