AVCOTRYL PN is a sequestering agent, with an outstanding complexing capacity used for pretreatment of natural fibres and blends with synthetics.
AVCOTRYL PN is based on a unique combination of phosphonates with protective colloid properties, which can prevent precipitation of Calcium, Magnesium and Heavy metal salts on textile fibres and on machines parts.
AVCOTRYL PN prevents redeposition of soil onto textile fibres during preparation and bleaching processes.SPECIFICATION:

PROPERTIES & USES:
- High binding capacity towards alkaline earth and heavy metal ions an a wide pH
range (3-13).
- AVCOTRYL PN increases efficiency of detergents used in the pretreatment
procedure, and improves primary detergency by synergistic action.
- Excellent de-crystallizing properties towards precipitated Calcium, Magnesium and
Heavy metals salts (threshold effect).
- Stable to all chemicals used in cotton and cotton blend pretreatment, such as
strong alkalies, persulphates, hydrogen-peroxide etc.
- Very useful complexing for agents textile pretreatment processes such as
desizing, alkaline boiling off, peroxide bleaching and washing processes.
- High complexing capacity towards iron ions in peroxide bleaching bath, to avoid
pin-holes and rust stains.
- Non-foaming at all.
- Liquid product-which can be metered by all types of automatic dosing machines.
APPLICATION:
AVCOTRYL PN is a mobile liquid, and can be metered directly to the treatment liquor without prediluting. The application quantities are the following:
-
Long liquor bleaching process with H2O2 – use 0.25 – 1.0 g/l
-
Alkaline boiling off in long liquor ratio machines – use 0.25 – 1.0 g/l
-
Cold pad batch bleaching with H2O2 – use 1.0 – 3.0g/l
-
Hot continuous bleaching with H2O2 – use 1.0 – 3.0 g/l
-
Alkaline boiling off continuously – use 1.0 – 3.0 g/l
-
Enzymatic desizing – use 1.0 – 3.0g/l
